Performing has always come as natural as taking my next breath. Starting with the "Little Shepherd Boy" at Saluda Baptist Church in a rural South Carolina town and ending on hundreds of stages throughout the United States. For years, performing was how I obtained my self-worth and in many ways how I created my identity. Yet it never brought the peace of mind I sought.
I never regretted the life I chose or the great experiences I have had as a performer. However, over the past two years, I believe I have transformed from a performer of music into an artist. I am not referring to a great increase in my personal talent, but to a genuine love and respect for music.
You may not find me on as many stages chasing the "Neon Rainbow," however, you will still find me writing songs and playing them on a small stool to searching souls.
